Dear Martha Jones Parents, Faculty and Staff,
It is our pleasure to introduce Donna Tobin as the next Principal of the Martha Jones Elementary School. After a thorough and inclusive search process, it was clear Donna has the experience and talent necessary to assume this important leadership position. We are confident she is a great fit for the Westwood community.
Donna is currently the Principal of the H.H. Richardson Elementary School in Easton,
MA. She was formerly an elementary teacher for the Milton Public Schools, and holds an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She brings to Westwood a wealth of knowledge, skill, and experience, coupled with a strong work ethic and a high energy level. In short, she possesses the requisite skills to be an outstanding elementary school principal.
We want to thank you all for your participation throughout the process. Whether you
served on the search committee, attended the parent or staff forums, or sent us e-mails, your feedback was invaluable.
Finally, we would be remiss if we did not say that Donna has big shoes to fill. Peggy
Scott has dedicated thirteen years to the Martha Jones community, and our students and families have been well-served with her at the helm. She has also been a mentor and friend to many other Westwood administrators, and although we all wish her well in retirement, she will be sorely missed.
Once again, congratulations to Donna Tobin. We are looking forward to her joining our team. Thank you.
Sincerely,
John J. Antonucci Emily Parks
