Want to be part of the online student Newspaper? Come to the 1^st meeting of the year, today after school in Rm. A145. See Ms. Whelan with any questions. Spanish Club will be having its first meeting this Thursday after school in room 260. New members are welcome. Even if you have sports, swing by and check in. There will be a meeting on Friday after school in room 256 for students interested in participating in the exchange trip to Spain in February. See Mr. Kelly or Ms Flanagan with questions. Attention cast members for the fall play: rehearsal today in cancelled. There will be a French club meeting right after school in room A256 to discuss the activities fair. Snacks will be provided. There will be brief meeting for Unity Club today immediately after school with Mrs. Feroli, in the Math Seminar room - if you are interested in joining but cannot make today’s meeting, please email Mrs. Feroli. The Legislative Council will meet this Wednesday during 2^nd and 3^rd lunches, in the PD room. If you have signed up with Miss Hebner to volunteer for Westwood Day, please visit the Rec. Office on Thursday or Friday to pick up your t-shirt and get your job description. There are still spots open – see Ms. Hebner if you’d like to volunteer. Members of the NHS will meet Wednesday at 12:40pm, immediately after school! All members are expected to attend and are asked to get to Rm. 235 promptly. Last call for the Peru trip! Any (10^th, 11^th & 12^th grade) students who are interested in learning about a new culture, visiting Machu Picchu and spending time at a Peruvian School should come on this trip. Please see Ms. Testa or Ms. Johnson for more info about traveling to Peru in February. There is a mandatory meeting for all returning Key Club members on Tuesday at 7:15am in Rm. A136. The Gay Straight Alliance Club is meeting on Thursday after school in Rm. A262. Anyone interested in auditioning for Jazz Band should pick up materials in the Band Room. Auditions will be held on October 3 & 4^th. Attention all returning Yearbook Staff members: there will be a meeting this Wednesday in Rm. A151.
