Nicole Abate, 7^th  and  8^th Drama

All Thurston Middle School students become involved in music and drama classes during the school day. Depending on the grade or class, students receive either a full semester of daily classes or a full year of classes that meet on alternating days. To fulfill the music requirement, students may select one of three options: General Music, Band or Chorus. Either option provides regularly scheduled and ongoing educational experiences that focus on general music education, instrumental or choral music. As of the ’07-‘8 school year, string orchestra classes are scheduled after school. Drama classes provide a three-year sequence of drama experiences to all students.

Extra curricular opportunities such as Jazz Band, Select Chorus and the Spring Musical are also available to students
