Guidelines for Increment Credits

Guidelines 1. Teachers who take a course from an accredited college or university may apply for increment credit. To do so, a “Request for Credit” form must be submitted to the Superintendent’s secretary for the Superintendent’s approval prior to taking the course, and a copy of the transcript submitted to the Superintendent’s office upon completion of the course. 2. Teachers who take a course offered through Westwood’s Professional Development program may apply for increment credits. To do so, a “Request for Credit” form must be filled out and submitted to the Superintendent’s secretary for the Superintendent’s approval prior to taking the course. 3. Teachers who teach a Professional Development course for Westwood may apply for increment credits, and should follow the same procedure outlined in #2. Revised June, 2001
