Each year in high school, students will participate in guidance seminars presented by the guidance department. They cover several topics, from transitioning to high school, to calculating your grade point average to career exploration to selecting a college. The Guidance Seminars are all presented with links to access them below.
Ninth Grade Seminars Ninth grade seminars are designed to introduce ninth graders to life at high school. Guidance Counselors meet with students during their studies four times a year to discuss topics such as GPA, course selection, study skills and school policies.

Sophomore Workshops Sophomore Workshops are devoted to career exploration. Students complete "Do What You Are" in Naviance to explore personality type, career interest and potential majors.

Juinior Workshops Junior workshops are designed to help students evaluate their post-secondary plans with an empahsis placed on college planning. Students will receive help developing a comprehensive list of schools based on their individual interests. Additional topics include Standardized Testing, Types of Applications, Teacher Recommendations, and Naviance.

During first term, seniors meet with counselors to review their post-secondary plans. Students who are planning on attending college will review what is required to ensure that materials are sent to schools in a timely manner. Students, counselors and teachers all have different responsiblities. Counselors will work with students who hope to pursue a Gap Year, PG Program, Military, Prep year, or Career to help them develop options and finalize post-secondary plans.
