08/21/19Online lunch ordering instructions

 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

We are noticing an increase in “in-class ordering” under the current Food Service Program.  While this is great news, in order to accomodate the orders it is very important to adhere as much as possible to the online ordering guidelines.  Instructions can be found HERE. The online ordering system is new to all of us, so we want to support families with some reminders:

 

Lunch orders must be placed before 2pm the day before.

 

Wednesday is a remote day, so there is NO in-class delivery, even if the system allows you to select this in-class option.

 

Remote Orders for Mon/Tues/Wed are to be picked up on Monday only.  Elementary schools pick up location is Downey from 1:00-1:30 pm. Middle and High School pick up location is the H.S. Auditorium lobby from 1:00-1:30 pm.  Lunch options for the upcoming Mon/Tues/Wed will become available for online ordering on Fridays at 2pm.

 

Remote Orders for Wed/Thurs/Fri are to be picked up on Wednesday only. Elementary schools pick up is Downey from 1:00-1:30 pm. Middle and High School pick up location is the H.S. Auditorium lobby from 1:00-1:30 pm. The lunch options for Wed/Thurs/Fri will become available for online ordering on Mondays after 2pm.

 

We are making it possible to order only a few days at a time in order to minimize confusion for families.

Please also remember that your child should have a snack and a refillable water bottle (labeled with name) with him or her each day.
