All Westwood Public Schools employees are required by law to complete annual training on the following important topics:

 

  • Bullying Prevention
  • Confidentiality of Student Records
  • Reporting Abuse and Neglect (51A)
  • Civil Rights
  • Prevention of Physical Restraint
  • McKinney-Vento Act for Homeless Students
  • Updates to School Committee Policies

 

All newly hired employees must complete the training within 30 days of being hired.

 

In addition,  WPS employees must complete state-mandated ethics training for municipal employees every two years.
