Throughout the course of the school year, counselors structure a number of different opportunities for students to learn social-emotional topics. They include:

Introduction to the Guidance Staff - Grade 6 and New Students (X-Block)

Bullying Prevention Theater (In conjunction with Westwood Youth and Family Services and the WHS Peer Leaders) - Grade 6

Signs of Suicide Prevention Program - Grade 7

A.C.T. (Acknowledge, Care, Tell a Trusted Adult) Unit - Taught with 7th grade Drama

8th grade Course Selection Assembly (In conjunction with WHS Guidance Staff)
