News and Announcements

Notes on Dismissal

I want to make sure we made clear the plan if there are delays on the afternoon buses due to traffic, weather, drivers who are out sick, or other circumstances.

If there is ever a time when a bus leaves Pine Hill after 3:40 PM we will send an email to all affected families of the delay. Additionally, if there is an unexpected delay mid route that we are made aware of, we notify families as soon as it is feasible.

If families have transportation related questions before 4:00 PM, please call the school. After 4:00 PM, please reach out to the Bus Coordinator, Scherie Ciarrochi at 781-326-7500 x1338.

We will continue to make communication a priority so that families are kept informed.

Parent Conferences

Spring parent conferences will take place on the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, March 25th, and the afternoon of Wednesday, April 8th. Your student’s teacher will be in touch with you to schedule your conference.

MCAS Dates

As we enter Spring our students and teachers are hard at work  preparing for MCAS testing. Please see the attached calendar for dates for each grade level. For all MCAS tests we ask families to help their students get a good night’s sleep, have something to eat in the morning, and encourage them to take their time and give it their best effort.

SEPAC collaborates with the Director of Student Services and the School Committee to shape policies and initiatives. Westwood SEPAC strives to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for all special education students by gathering input from parents, teachers, service providers (such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, etc.), and the broader Westwood community.
