Upcoming SEPAC Event (flyer)

Please read the attached flyer regarding an upcoming event hosted by the Westwood SEPAC. The event is entitled Understanding and Responding to Kids with Emotional & Behavior Challenges using a Positive Strength-Based Approach. Charlie Appelstein, author of No Such Thing as a Bad Kid, will present at this event.

The event will be held in the WPS District Administration Professional Development Room on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7:00pm.

A Virtual Deerfield STEAM Fair

After reviewing the calendar for the upcoming weeks, it does not look like it will be possible to reschedule the Deerfield STEAM Fair in the near future. In an effort to celebrate all of the time and hard work the students put into their projects and provide everyone with an opportunity to view the projects, we are going to hold a "virtual" STEAM fair. Students who wish to participate will be asked to submit photographs and/or a short video documenting their project. We will then put together a slide show to share with all students during the school day. The slide show will also be shared with Deerfield families.

Please stay tuned for more information from the STEAM Fair Committee regarding how to submit your STEAM project photos and videos.

Grade 5 Move Up Ceremony

The Deerfield Move Up Ceremony honoring our graduating fifth-grade students will be held on Monday, June 18th at 9:00am. This event will be held in the Deerfield gymnasium.
