Lockdown Practice: Thursday, December 15th

Last week, I shared a letter with all Deerfield families regarding safety and security preparedness and our first lockdown drill, which is scheduled for this Thursday, December 15th. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank You: Inclusive Schools Week Assembly

Thank you so much to the Deerfield PTO for supporting Inclusive Schools Week and sponsoring the all-school assembly Improv for Inclusion: Acceptance & Support, by Young Audiences Arts for Learning Massachusetts.

 

 

Early Release Day on Friday, December 23rd

Friday, December 22nd will be an early-release day for students before the December vacation. Students will be dismissed at 11:50am and we will not have lunch or afternoon recess in school.

 

 

No School on Monday, December 26th - Monday, January 2nd

All Westwood Public Schools will be closed on Monday, December 26th - Monday, January 2nd for the December vacation.

 

 

Kids Night Out: December 16th

The Westwood Recreation Department is hosting a Side-By-Side Kids Night Out event on Friday, December 16th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. The event will be held at Wentworth Hall.
