Teacher Appreciation Week: Thank You!

Thank you so much to the Pine Hill PTO for the incredible Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to the Teacher Appreciation Week Committee for organizing the wonderful collection of meals and treats throughout the week. Thank you to Pine Hill families for the creative and generous raffle items. The Pine Hill faculty and staff felt very appreciated (and full!) all week long. Thank you so much for your generosity and support!

Daily Dismissal

Our school day officially ends at 3:20pm each day. If you are picking your child up in a car at the end of the day, please do not arrive in the front circle prior to 3:10pm. We cannot begin our dismissal until 3:15pm and need to avoid cars blocking the flow of traffic on Gay Street. If you are able to arrive between 3:15pm - 3:20pm, that would be really helpful in preventing our front circle from filling up and causing a back-up onto Gay Street. Thank you so much for helping to make our dismissal a safe and smooth process.

Reminder: Conversations with Caregivers: Tuesday, May 14th

We are excited for our final Conversation with Caregivers series for SY 2023-24 on May 14th. The Westwood Public Schools’ School Engagement Committee appreciates the community participation this year and hopes you will join us for our panel discussion on Mental Health Resources and Trends. Each panelist will share about their program/resource, how caregivers can access your program, and what information can be shared. Panelists will also talk about trends and things that are surfacing with students around mental health at this time. We will save some time at the end of the session for Q&A.

The Conversation with Caregivers will be held at the Pine Hill Elementary School, 790 Gay Street, Westwood, MA on May 14th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. We are offering this talk in person and via Zoom. Please use this link to Register.
