Outdoor Learning Space

Thank you so much to the Deerfield PTO for redeveloping the old kindergarten playground space into a new beautiful outdoor learning space. After the landscaping work was completed, the PTO Executive Board purchased eight benches that can also be used to make four picnic tables. This will be a wonderful space that will be well-used by the entire Deerfield community.

Thank you to Jay O'Reilly, Freddie Piccirilli, Steve Preskenis, and Todd Williamson for taking the time to assemble the benches.

Westwood Youth and Family Services Survey (flyer)

Please read the attached flyer about a Parent Survey from Westwood Youth and Family Services. They are looking for input regarding resources, programs and services are needed in Westwood for parents.

SEPAC Book Talk (flyer)

Please read for following message from Michelle Fiola-reidy:

Good afternoon SEPAC members,

Together with Westwood district, the next SEPAC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the high school’s Professional Development room.

We will be welcoming Brenda Dater to Westwood and to hear her thoughts on "parenting without panic "a topic that all of us can relate to. We are confident that all parents can gain helpful tips from Brenda's experiences.

As this school year is coming to a close (can you believe it!), this is a good time to offer your thoughts on how, together, members can assist and support one another in the coming year. There are many opportunities to help shape the future of SEPAC, including suggesting topics, identifying school based needs, providing hospitality to new families and helping in a leadership role. Your participation will make a difference.

I look forward to see you all on May 24!
