Commissioner's Recommendation
Last Thursday, the Commissioner of Education, Mitchell Chester, released a recommendation that Massachusetts develop a Next Generation MCAS exam to use as our state test, beginning in Spring 2017. If his recommendation is adopted, then we will likely administer the PARCC exam in grades 3-5 this spring. Here is a link to the Commissioner’s complete press release.
Early-Release Day on Wednesday, November 18th
Wednesday, November 18th will be an early-release day for parent-teacher conferences. Students will be dismissed at 11:25am and lunch will not be served in school.
Dismissal on Wednesday, November 25th
Wednesday, November 25th will be an early-release day to begin the Thanksgiving break. Please note that students will be dismissed at 11:35am, rather than 11:25am as on other early-release Wednesdays.
