Reminder: Important Reminders Regarding Arrival Procedures

Our school day begins at 8:25am. At 8:20am, a bell rings and students to line-up for morning announcements before proceeding to their classrooms. Students who arrive between 8:05am-8:20am will begin their day on the playground where staff members supervise a morning arrival time. In the case of inclement weather, students will proceed to the gym during this time. Please do not drop your child off before 8:05am. We are not able to provide supervision of students prior to that time.

Students who arrive after 8:25am are tardy and must check-in at the main office before proceeding to their classrooms. Please make every effort to help your child arrive before our 8:25am start time.

Please do not park in the painted spaces in the traffic circle between 8:00am-8:30am. If you choose to walk your child to the playground, please park in an available parking space on the side of the school. The traffic circle is reserved for cars with students who will walk themselves to the playground.

If you arrive as one of our vans is dropping off Deerfield students in the traffic circle, please do not pass the vans or stop too close behind the vans. The vans need to have unobstructed access to the curb ramp.
