Thank You So Much!

Thank you so much to the Pine Hill PTO for providing a delicious breakfast for our teachers on Monday, August 28th and lunch for the entire faculty and staff on Tuesday, August 29th. These were the first official days back and having breakfast and lunch together was such a nice way to reconnect with each other, get to know new members of our community, and kick-off the year. We truly appreciate your generosity and ongoing support!

 

 

Early Release Day on Wednesday, September 6th

The first early-release Wednesday of the school year will be this Wednesday, September 6th. Students will be dismissed at 12:00pm and we will not have lunch or afternoon recess during the school day. If students are going to Extended Day, then they will have lunch at the Hanlon School at the beginning of Extended Day.

 

 

Pine Hill Community Picnic on Friday, September 8th

The beginning-of-the-year Pine Hill Community Picnic will be held on Friday, September 8th beginning from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. It will take place on the Deerfield fields behind the school. All community members and their families are invited to pack a picnic dinner and join us to celebrate the start of the school year.

 

 

Updating Permissions in Aspen

In order to ensure that we have the most up-to-date information about our students, all families are required to submit annual signoffs and permissions for each child through Aspen. The submission includes contact and medical information, student handbook acknowledgment, media and other permissions, and the free and reduced lunch application. This task is required annually, even if no information has changed from last year.

 

To complete the process, please login to your account on our Aspen family portal and click on Annual Signoffs and Permissions. Please be aware that if you have multiple children in the Westwood Public Schools, a separate form needs to be submitted for each child. 

 

 

First Day of School Photos

We would love to include some "first day of school photos" of our students on the Pine Hill website. If you are willing to share your photos and have them posted on the Pine Hill website, please email them to Mr. Baumer (jbaumer@westwood.k12.ma.us).
