Title I:  Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990
Prohibits discrimination, exclusion from participation and denial of benefits on the basis of disability in the areas of employment.

Title II:  Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990
Prohibits discrimination, exclusion from participation and denial of benefits on the basis of disability in the areas of education, programming and activities.

Title Vi:  Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
Prohibits discrimination, exclusion from participation and denial of benefits on the based on race, color and/or national origin.

Title IX:  Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972
Prohibits discrimination, exclusion from participation and denial of benefits on the based on sex in educational programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.

Title X, NCLB:  The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
Governs elementary and secondary education, Title  X Part C is the McKinney-Vento Homeless Educational Assistance Improvement Acts of 2001.

Section 504:  Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
Prohibits discrimination, exclusion from participation and denial of benefits on the basis of disability.

MGL Ch. 76, Section 5:  Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 76, Section 5
Prohibits discrimination in all public schools on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, religion and/or sexual orientation.  This state law encompasses all aspects of the federal laws listed above and adds sexual orientation.

Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA: Amended 2004)
Federal special education law mandating that all children with disabilities have available to them a free appropriate public education  in the least restrictive environment that emphasizes special education and related services designed to meet their unique needs and prepare them for employment and independent living.

MIC3 - Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission (MA Valor Act of 2012)
Provide support and assistance to the students of active duty military families to ensure the timely enrollment and graduation of this mobile population.
