The sophomore year guidance curriculum is devoted to career exploration. Guidance counselors present a two-day workshop in Wellness classes that introduces students to Naviance, where they will complete a personality and career interest inventory. Results of the inventories can help inform students' potential college majors and career paths.

Internships provide an excellent opportunity for students to explore potential career interests. WHS partners with The Education Collaborative, TEC, to offer internships during the school year and the summer.


Community service and volunteer opportunities are available in Westwood and the Greater Boston Area.
