Thurston Library News

The Thurston Library is open before school at 7:15 in the morning. It is also open after school until 3:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You will find the new book shelf completely full since we just received a new shipment of both fiction and non-fiction books.  New fiction includes this year’s Newbery winner and honor books: The Girl Who Drank the Moon, Freedom Over Me, The Inquisitor’s Tale and Wolf Hollow.  New non-fiction titles include Balcony on the Moon, Uprooted and Crow Smarts.  We are building our Playaway collection and are currently up to forty-two titles including: Al Capone does my Homework, Falling over Sideways, and  Fuzzy Mud.

If you have any requests for purchases for the library, please let us know the titles of any books, books on CD or Playaway that you think the Thurston Library should own. - Mrs. Bolger, Thurston Library Media Specialist
