Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten Registration is open for the 2026-2027 School Year. Please see the information sent from Tim Piwowar, Superintendent, Westwood Public Schools.
Parents and caregivers can visit the Kindergarten Registration page on the district website to get started. If you indicated on the Westwood town census that you have a child eligible for kindergarten for the coming school year, you will also receive registration information by mail.
Note: If you are an existing Westwood Integrated Preschool family, you will receive separate instructions for registering your student.

Buffer Zones Information
We also want families to be aware that the district is implementing elementary school buffer zones. Buffer zones are areas on the boundary between existing elementary school district zones, where incoming students may be assigned to one of two elementary schools to help maintain class size guidelines.
