04/30/25Walk to School Day - Thursday May 1
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 1st, is Martha Jones’s Walk to School Day. The weather looks good for walking, a nice cool morning!
In order to have a safe and successful event, please be mindful that:
An adult must accompany all students. There are no dedicated, parent-chaperoned corners this year. Please be sure that if your students are walking, that there is a dedicated adult to walk with them.
Westwood PD will be stationed around the Pond St. and Oak St. intersection to help aid in safe crossing.
Do not park at the Temple Beth David parking lot on the corner of Clapboardtree and Pond.
Students are welcome to take their regular mode of transportation to school. Buses will run on a normal schedule.
****2nd grade families, please be sure that your students arrive on time. 2nd grade is going on a field trip tomorrow and it is important that they are able to board the bus as soon as school arrives.
