01/17/23Week of January 16th

Teaching and Learning Highlight:

In Library class, our library teacher, Ms. Kara, has been working with our Grade 5 students on a "BOOKFLIX" project. Students have selected a picture book and practiced reading it aloud fluently and with expression. The students then recorded themselves reading the picture book. Ms. Kara created QR codes for each recording and posted them on the bulletin board by the cafeteria. Students and teachers can scan the QR codes to access the recordings and listen to the read aloud.

January Report Cards

Your child’s report card will be available for you to review through our Aspen/X2 portal on Friday, January 27th. Directions for accessing the report card are linked here. If you need support, you can visit the Aspen self-help site or email our Aspen support team at aspen@westwood.k12.ma.us with questions. Report cards will not be mailed home this year.
