Winter Mini-Courses Beginning This Week

The Winter session of Deerfield's Mini-Courses begin during the week of Monday, January 22nd. All Mini-Courses are held once a week from 2:45pm - 4:00pm. If your child is signed-up for a Mini-Course, please make arrangements to have him/her picked-up at 4:00pm on the day of the weekly Mini-Course. If you are unsure which day a particular course meets, please contact Mrs. Miller in the Deerfield office.

 

Early-Release Day on Wednesday, January 24th

Wednesday, January 24th will be an early-release day for students. Students will be dismissed at 11:25am and lunch will not be served in school.

 

Report Cards

The Elementary Report Cards for all students will be mailed home on Friday, January 26th. The January Report Cards offer an excellent opportunity for teachers to share how students are currently performing as they work toward end-of-the-year grade-level benchmarks. 

If you do not receive your child's Report Card by Wednesday, January 31st, please contact Mrs. Miller.

 

SEPAC Meeting (flyer)

Please read the attached flyer regarding the next SEPAC meeting on February 6th. The topic of that meeting will be Mental Health. A speaker from "Minding Your Mind" will share the presentation Just Talk About.

 

Lost and Found

We have accumulated a large collection of items in our Lost and Found, including many articles of winter clothing. Please ask your child to check the Lost and Found for their missing clothing and/or please check the Lost and Found when you are at Deerfield.

 

Please check for items by Wednesday, February 14th. Any unclaimed articles of clothing will be donated to charity on Friday, February 16th. The Lost and Found is located near the main office in Deerfield.
