School Dismissal Manager and Mini Courses

As we conclude our first week of Mini Courses, we would like to share a few important reminders regarding end-of-day dismissal to ensure a safe and smooth transition for all students.

School Dismissal Manager (SDM) Updates -  If your child is participating in a Mini Course or attending 5th Grade Play Practice, you must log into the School Dismissal Manager to update their dismissal instructions.

Timely Changes: Please ensure all changes are made in the system by 11:00 AM.

Student Consistency: Having the correct information in SDM prevents confusion for students and staff at the end of the day

We appreciate your cooperation with this and helping Mrs. Erwin and the rest of our staff focus on a safe dismissal for every child.

Car Pick Up Line - Sometimes the staff on car pick up duty changes and it is important to help the line move quickly and safely that you post your child(ren)’s name and teacher’s name on a sign and have it visible in the passenger side window. This is critical to keep the process moving quickly. You may see us, but because most cars have tinted glass, it is difficult to see who is inside the car and for us to read the sign when it is on the dashboard.  We recognize that many of you may have lost your sign since the beginning of the year, but it is very helpful to have the sign posted clearly every day.  

Thank you very much for your help with this.  PLEASE Complete this sign and place it in your passenger window. Thank you for your continued support.

 

Sweets with Someone Special

Please join Sheehan School PTA to enjoy a snack before School! Each student can bring one special guest (Parent/Caregiver, Grandparent, Aunt/Uncle, favorite neighbor, etc.)

Event Details:

  • Location: Sheehan Cafeteria
  • Time: 8:15am - 8:45am
  • Dates by Grade:
    • Grades K-1: Tuesday, February 10th
    • Grades 2-3: Wednesday, February 11th
    • Grades 4-5: Thursday, February 12th

Important Note: If your child has allergies, you’re welcome to bring a snack that works best for them. We will also have gluten-free cookies available. If you have children in different grades, you may choose whichever day works best and bring all of your children together on that day.
