Math MCAS - May 13th and 15th  - Grades 3, 4, and 5

Our students are well prepared to take the Math MCAS. Still, as with anything that is highly anticipated, it is important to communicate to your child that the MCAS is only one of the many opportunities to show what he or she can do independently.

Below are a few tips that can make the MCAS a better experience.

  • See that your child is well rested and eats a healthy breakfast before school tomorrow.
  •  See that your child arrives to school on time.
  •  Please provide a healthy snack and drink for your child.
  •  Encourage your child to do his or her best work possible.
  •  Please have your child bring to school a book of great interest for him/her to read when finished with the testing.

WPS Conversations Event Tuesday, May 13th

Please join us on Tuesday, May 13th for an engaging evening as we celebrate our final WPS Conversations Event hosted by the School Engagement Committee for the '24-'25 school year. We will view the movie Out of My Mind, (Trailer). Pizza and salad will be available. After the movie, we will engage in thoughtful discussion on how we can foster a school community where all students—regardless of ability, culture, or background—feel included, valued, and connected.

5:30–7:30 – Movie Screening & Pizza/Salad Dinner

(Please register here for dinner)

 7:30–8:30 – Caregiver Conversation

Have you already seen the movie? Feel free to join us at 7:30 for the discussion!

The event flyer is linked here.

Hope you can join us on the 13th.
