Student Council News
Looking ahead, in honor of Veterans Day, the Student Council will be hosting a brief Veterans Day Celebration at school on Monday, November 10th.
We would love your help in creating a slideshow featuring the names and photos of Sheehan family members who have served—or are currently serving—in the Armed Forces.
Please send the name(s) of your beloved Veteran(s), their branch of the Armed Forces, and a digital photo (if available) by Thursday, November 6th to mwalsh@westwood.k12.ma.us
or adrury@westwood.k12.ma.us.
On Monday, November 10th, students are encouraged to wear patriotic colors to school.

5th Grade Play
We are so excited to announce our 5th-grade play, " Annie".
A hard copy of the registration form is going home with your children today.
Attached is an electronic copy, should you need an extra copy.
We do hope all 5th-grade students are able to participate. This is a wonderful experience for all students.

Milton Academy Opportunity for Grade 4
The Milton Academy Saturday Program provides a rich learning environment dedicated to the advancement of individual potential. Students are given the opportunity to think and imagine in inspirational ways. Saturday Course students love school for all that creative learning implies. Scholars are invited to take enrichment classes like Blood and Guts (anatomy and physiology), Trial Court, Woodworking, and Darkroom Photography.
The courses are fun and engaging, and many children truly enjoy them. Our school has been allotted ten slots in the program. If you are interested in your child attending, please complete the attached Parent Nomination Form and return it to the Sheehan School office by Monday, November 24, 2025. A lottery will be held if more applications than available slots are received. Selected students will be notified by Tuesday, December 2nd, and provided with all the registration information. Registration and deposits will be due to the Milton Academy Office by Friday, December 5th.
