The school government structure, and the various councils, clubs and activities at Westwood High School reflect, in part, the school’s mission, which is to “promote intellectual, social and emotional growth” as a “shared responsibility of students, faculty, administrators, support staff, parents and the community-at-large”.

All students at WHS are encouraged to get involved in the extracurricular pursuits that interest them. From musical and theatrical performance, to political activism, to service organizations, to shared-interest groups, there is something for everyone.
